Steps

Step 1: Open the note
Open the note the file belongs to.

Step 2: Add the file
Choose Attach a file, or simply drop files onto the note.

Step 3: Or link a file from Drive
Choose Attach a file from Drive. The file stays in Drive; the note links to it rather than copying it.

Step 4: Preview it
Open the attachment to preview it without leaving the note.
What happens next
The file sits with the note it belongs to, so the context and the paperwork are always together.
