Before you start

Who this is for

Shop staff, billers and owners who need to look up, reprint or share an earlier bill.

Before you start

  • At least one saved bill.
  • A Billing profile that allows you to see sales.

Steps

  1. Step 1: Open the Sales list

Choose Sales in the menu. You see the bills for the dates chosen, with the bill number, date, customer, amount and payment status.

  2. Step 2: Search

Type a bill number or a customer name in the search box above the list.

  3. Step 3: Choose the dates

Under Dates, pick the period you want. Choose a custom range to set From and To yourself.

Tip: If the dates fall outside your financial year, or the list is long, a note tells you that only some bills are shown. Narrow the dates to see the rest.

  4. Step 4: Filter by payment

Under Status, choose Unpaid, Part paid or Paid, or leave it on Any status.

  5. Step 5: Open the bill

Choose the bill number in the row to open the bill. From there you can print it again or share it.

What happens next

You have found the bill you wanted and opened it, ready to print again or share.

Questions

Where are the bills I put on hold?

They are not in the Sales list because they are not saved yet. Open New bill and choose Held bills to bring one back.

Can I see purchases and receipts the same way?

Yes. Purchases, Receipts, Payments, Credit notes and Debit notes have lists like this one, if your Billing profile allows them.
