Where do the Insights figures come from?

Accounting figures are read live from Smart Books and stock figures from Inventory, as you, for the company, financial year and branch you choose. Insights keeps no copy of a source transaction.

What if a figure cannot be read?

It is shown as unavailable, with the reason. Insights never shows zero for a figure it could not read.

What is Ask Insights?

Questions in plain English answered through AI Pulse from the figures actually fetched, with the evidence shown. Ask for a dashboard and it proposes one; nothing is created until you apply it.

Are sales from Sales or Billing counted twice?

No. Smart Books owns the accounting effect of a sale. Figures from the Aicountly commercial apps are shown beside the books as they are connected, labelled with their product, and never added to them.
