Billing

Decide who can do what in Billing

Give a counter biller, an accountant or a manager just the screens they need, with Billing profiles.

  • Work with your team
  • 4 steps

Before you start

Who this is for

Company owners and anyone who manages settings in Billing.

Before you start

  • The person already shared on your company (Manage → Companies → Share company).

Steps

  1. Step 1: Open Users & Access

Open Settings → Users & Access. As the owner you see everyone related to the company and can give or remove their access to Billing.

  2. Step 2: Give the person access to Billing

Grant Billing for the person, or review access requests waiting for you.

  3. Step 3: Choose their Billing profile

Pick the Billing profile that fits the job. A biller profile, for example, can make bills and take money without seeing cost, profit or the bank.

  4. Step 4: Check the result

The person’s menu and dashboard now show only what their profile allows, and they land on the first dashboard they are allowed to see.

What happens next

Each person sees the screens their job needs — and a screen that is not offered to them cannot be opened by typing its address either.

Questions

Is access to Billing the same as their Billing profile?

No. Access lets someone open your company in Billing; the profile decides what they can do once inside.
