What does Appointments own?
The booking: services, availability rules, resources, the waitlist, booking pages, forms, reminders and the booking lifecycle. Calendar owns the diary and Contacts owns the client; Appointments reads them live and keeps no copy.
Can clients book online?
Yes. Public booking pages let clients choose a service and a time without an Aicountly account and answer the form attached to that service. Each booking comes with a private link to cancel or reschedule under the service’s own rules.
How does it work with Calendar?
Slots are offered only where they fit your services, working hours and the practitioner’s existing Calendar diary. A confirmed booking is held in the practitioner’s Calendar as busy time with a neutral label and no client details. If Calendar cannot be reached, Appointments says so rather than showing nothing as free.
Are clients sent confirmations and reminders?
On WhatsApp or SMS through Messaging, only where Messaging is enabled for your company. Until then Appointments still schedules every reminder and records it as not sent, with the reason — never as delivered.
What do the dashboards show?
Five dashboards: Overview, Live Operations, Capacity, Client Experience and Intelligence. Schedule Health and no-show risk are broken down into the named components behind them. AI through AI Pulse only rewords what the rules found; without it the insights stay rule-based.
