Before you start

What this does

Search finds a file by its name, a tag, a voucher number, or a short phrase describing it. You can search your company's documents, your own, or files others have shared with you.

Search for a document

Click the box at the top that says Search documents, tags… (Enter). Type a name, a tag or a voucher number, then press Enter. The Search page opens with the results.

You can also write what you want in plain words, such as pdf invoices from books last month.

Choose where to look

Along the top of the results are three tabs: Company Documents (across this company's documents), My Documents (your personal documents) and Shared With Me (documents others shared with you). Each tab shows how many files match, so you can see where your file is.

Narrow the results

Use the filter buttons: Type for the kind of file, App and Module for the Aicountly app a file came from, Modified for a date such as Today, Last 7 days, This month or Last year, or your own From and To dates, and Tag for a tag. In Company Documents there is also an owner filter.

Each filter you use appears as a small chip. Remove one with its remove button, or select Clear all.

Use the Sort list to order the results. Best match shows when you have typed a search. Other choices include Last modified, Recently added, Name A → Z and Largest first.

Open a result

Select a file to open it. Use the view buttons to switch between Icons, List and Thumbnails with previews. The Refresh button reloads the list.
