Release Notes for AICOUNTLY Notes Version 1.1
23 Oct 2026
This release makes Notes easier to use on every screen, adds ways to bring notes in and take them out, and improves how sharing, saving and printing work.
New
- Export a note as Markdown, HTML or plain text from its menu.
- Import Markdown and plain-text files as notes.
- Print a note or save it as a PDF, with a clean printed page that fits wide tables to the page width.
- Leave a note or notebook that has been shared with you, and report a shared note if something is wrong.
- Undo messages after common actions, and a Restore button in Trash to bring a note back.
- Press Alt or Option plus N in a browser tab to start a new note.
- Open version history and comments directly from the note header.
- A compact formatting row in the editor on touch screens.
- Notes now has a mobile app with a notes list, editor, sharing, photos, search, notebooks, Trash, offline sync and AI features.
- An audit trail in Settings, where a company owner can review activity across the company.
Improved
- Search now matches the beginning of a word as well as the whole word.
- Your save status stays visible, and if your session expires your draft is kept.
- If a note was changed on another device while you were offline, Notes asks which version to keep and keeps asking until you answer.
- Notes can be opened with no internet connection instead of showing the sign-in screen, and changes made offline are saved on your device and sent when you reconnect.
- Sharing now tells you plainly that sharing does not notify anyone and offers the link to copy.
- A new version notice now appears when an update is ready, and applying it works properly.
- Dates are shown in Indian Standard Time, page titles are clearer, and colour contrast is better.
- A short AI notice is shown before you first use AI features, with a way to report an answer.
- The Home screen shows Highlights and Insights once, and capturing a note from Home no longer shows a false offline message.
Fixed
- Empty Trash, long note lists and Ctrl+S now work as expected, and opening a note no longer saves it by itself.
- The word and character counts are now correct when a note is opened.
- The slash and at-sign menus in the editor open again, and attachments, audio and embedded items are no longer lost while typing.
- Link to note now links the note you picked, and Enter selects the top match.
- A tag now appears in the sidebar as soon as a note is given it, and smart folders recognise a tag once you leave the field.
- Signing out now clears the account's data from the device.
