Release Notes for AICOUNTLY Smart Books Version 1.2
19 Jul 2026
Smart Books Version 1.2 elevates branded financial print and PDF output, connects GST credentials through Vault, and strengthens voucher and financial-year reliability for day-to-day accounting.
Major Changes
Branded Financial Print & PDF Engine
- Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Trading Account, and Trial Balance print/PDF output rebuilt to the AICOUNTLY branded layout.
- Cash Flow and Fund Flow statements now use the unified print engine for consistent stakeholder packs.
- Simple receipts and payment slips gain clearer seller identity, signatory placement, and print alignment.
GST Credentials via Vault
- GST portal credentials are retrieved through Vault instead of local credential stores.
- Company-wide GST credential profiles stay available across financial-year contexts when authorised.
Voucher & Financial Year Reliability
- Voucher replication respects the active financial year and branch context from Manage.
- Balance Sheet compare periods resolve prior-year end dates more reliably for print and on-screen review.
Minor Changes
Chart of Accounts Alignment
- Account group import aligns more closely with master structures for cleaner opening balances.
Bank Reconciliation Stability
- Selecting a bank ledger during bank reconciliation no longer interrupts the workspace session.
Bug Fixes
Statement Nesting
- Corrected Balance Sheet nesting so bank and cash groups do not duplicate under the same anchor.
Print Footer Layout
- Receipt and slip footers no longer overlap signatory blocks on multi-page prints.
