Release Notes for AICOUNTLY Manage Version 1.2
13 Sep 2026
Manage 1.2 adds an Account section where you can close an account or hand your companies to someone else, labels every company with its ID so two with the same name can finally be told apart, and becomes the registry that supplies every product launcher in the suite.
Major Changes
Your Account
- Close or delete your account, with a 90-day cooling-off period.
- See which companies you actually own, and transfer them to someone else rather than losing them.
Companies Have Visible IDs
- The company ID appears in the Companies list, the Switch Company picker, the command palette, the workspace header and the transfer-ownership confirmation.
- You can search by that ID, pasting the chip verbatim.
Sharing Provisions Auditor Too
- Sharing a company now grants AICOUNTLY Auditor access, not only Books.
- The share dialog offers Auditor roles fetched live from Auditor, so a firm's own custom roles appear, and the granted role is recorded and shown on the member list.
The Central App Registry
- Manage now serves the AICOUNTLY application registry. Replacing an icon in Product Icons updates every product's launcher with no deploy anywhere.
- The launcher grew past 20 products and gained a search box.
Minor Changes
Company Setup
- The stock valuation method chosen on Create Company is carried into Books, instead of being discarded and silently defaulted to FIFO.
- A welcome page after creating a company — setup steps for first-timers, product shortcuts for returning users.
- Chat and Docs tiles renamed Connect and Drive.
Bug Fixes
Sessions & Profiles
- "Sign in again" on the session-error screens reached the same refused session instead of a real login form.
- Saving your profile failed with a 404.
- Books member rows could not show names and emails, because the directory lookup behind them returned 404 every time.
