Inventory launches as the stock engine for the AICOUNTLY suite. Items, units, warehouses and bills of material moved out of Smart Books and into a product of their own, so they are maintained once and read everywhere.
Key Features
- Item masters with groups, categories, brands, units of measure, warehouse groups, warehouses and locations.
- Bills of material, batches and serial numbers.
- Inventory documents, stock balances, a full movement ledger, and reservations against open commitments.
- FIFO, LIFO and weighted-average valuation with cost layers and COGS.
- Back-dated recalculation, so a correction entered late reprices the ledger instead of leaving it wrong.
- Reconciliation against the Stock-in-Hand ledger in Smart Books.
Shared With Smart Books
Smart Books 2.0 reads its item and stock data live from Inventory rather than keeping a second copy. Maintaining an item in one product and finding it stale in the other is the problem this split was made to remove.
