The Workspace page in Manage shows the people who can open your workspace in two separate lists: the Workspace team and Company users. Before you move or remove anyone, Manage tells you what access will end and what they will keep. This article explains the difference and how to use each action.
Who is in each list
- Workspace team: your team opens every company in your workspace, now and any you add later, with the app permissions you choose for each person. Companies you hide from the workspace are left out. Invited people join once they accept.
- Company users: people who open only the companies you share with them and see nothing else of your workspace. Sharing a company with someone who is not on your team adds them to this list.
Open the page
- In the left menu, select Workspace.
- Find Workspace team and Company users on the page.
Invite someone to your team
- In the Workspace team area, type the person's email in the invite box. They must already be a registered Aicountly user.
- Select Invite. Until they accept, they show as invited and "waiting for them to accept". You can also select Sharing settings… to choose their permissions first.
Move someone to Company users
- Next to the person in the Workspace team, select Move to Company users.
- Manage asks "Move … to Company users?" and explains that they will no longer open every company in your workspace.
- It then lists the companies they keep because they were shared with them directly. If no company is shared with them directly, it warns that they will lose access to your workspace.
- It also says their app permissions are kept in case you move them back.
- Select Move to Company users to confirm, or Cancel.
Move someone to the Workspace team
- In the Company users list, select Move to the Workspace team next to the person.
- Manage shows that they will open every company in your workspace and lets you set their app permissions.
- Select Move to Workspace team to confirm.
Remove someone
- In the Workspace team, select Remove. Manage asks "Remove … from your workspace?" and explains that this ends all their access, including any company shared with them directly, which it lists. If you would rather let them keep some companies, it suggests choosing Move to Company users instead. Confirm with Remove from workspace.
- In Company users, you can remove a person from a single company, or choose Remove from all companies. Manage tells you which companies they keep or lose, and warns you if it is the only company shared with them.
Withdraw an invitation
For someone who has not accepted yet, the Remove button reads Withdraw invitation. Manage explains they will not join your Workspace team, and that any company shared with them directly stays shared. Confirm with Withdraw invitation.
