Release Notes for AICOUNTLY Drive Version 1.2

12 Sep 2026

Docs is now Drive, served from drive.aicountly.com since 31 August 2026. This release rebuilds sharing into two flows that do not get confused with each other, and fixes a "Shared With Me" list that was hiding most of what had been shared with you.

Major Changes

Sharing, Split in Two

  • A guided Share Document tab for adding several people at once, each with their own permission level.
  • A separate Permissions tab for changing or revoking access people already have.

Shared With Me Actually Shows Everything

  • Documents shared through the permissions panel, and documents shared company-wide, were both invisible in that list before.

Tagging, With AI Suggestions

  • A tag editor in the preview panel, plus a Suggest Tags action that proposes tags from the document's contents for you to accept or reject.
  • The permanently empty Templates menu has been removed.

Personal Files Without a Company

  • Personal and shared documents no longer require picking a company first, and a personal file uploaded under one company no longer disappears under another.
  • AICOUNTLY Contracts joined Drive as a storage product, with a ten-year retention rule for executed agreements.

Renamed from Docs

What Changed

  • The product is now Drive and is served from drive.aicountly.com.
  • Internal identifiers still read "docs" — that is the product key, not a leftover label.

Bug Fixes

Sharing & Uploads

  • Sharing a personal document silently failed — the recipient got "Permission denied" and never saw it listed.
  • Uploads were being blocked by a browser security policy until it was applied on every production deploy.
  • Small files showed their size as "0.00 MB" and small storage totals as "0 GB".
  • Document dates were read in the wrong timezone, and files uploaded through Drive were filed under the wrong product.
