Contacts 1.2 brings your customers, suppliers and employees in from Smart Books and HRMS rather than asking you to type them again, and lets contacts be tagged to the company they belong to.
Major Changes
Import from Books and HRMS
- Your Smart Books customer and supplier list and your HRMS employee list can be imported, with duplicate review before anything is created.
- Only genuine trading parties are brought across — payroll and tax details never leave the product that holds them.
Company Tagging
- Tag a contact to one of your companies, then filter the list by company, including a "Not tagged" bucket.
- Filtered views can be shared as a link, and company columns are included in CSV export.
Apple iCloud Sync
- Connecting an iCloud account no longer hangs, and a sync tells you when there is more left to bring in.
- Connected accounts show how many contacts each has synced.
The Chat Hub Is Live
- AI Pulse plus real one-to-one messaging with people in your address book, replacing the placeholder data that was there before.
Bug Fixes
Forms & Connections
- The Company field on the Add Contact form failed with an error.
- Connected accounts reported that no companies were available, which made it impossible to connect anything.
- An interrupted iCloud sync could archive contacts that had simply not been fetched yet, then re-import them as duplicates.
