TDS appears in Form 26AS (and AIS) only after the deductor has deposited the tax and filed the quarterly TDS return that reports it. Until then, the credit will not show, even if the amount was cut from your payment.
Ask your client to check that the return for that quarter has been filed, and that your PAN and the amount were reported correctly. If there is an error, they can file a correction statement. Claim credit in your income tax return only for the TDS actually reflected, and keep the TDS certificate as a record.
